Don't lose your visitors with that crisp message: Error 404, The page can not be found. Instead you can customize your 404 error message so that if a 404 error condition occurs, your visitors get your custom, more meaningful message insread of the default message. I have added quite a few directories to our Web Promotion Resources page for you to promote your website. Most of these directories have good Google page rank. You can submit your site for free listing in these resources though some of them require a reciprocal link. Most of them also offer enhanced listing for a small fees. Submitting your website for listing in directories requires some time and effort but it is well worth it because when search engines find more incoming links to your site, they tend to crawl your site more often and it may also get a higher ranking as well.
Apple has released the beta version of its software that will allow Intel based Macs to run Windows XP in a dual boot environment. I think it's a smart move on Apple's part to gain some market share as people will be able to run PC software on their machines that didn't run on Mac.
